Greetings from the Philippines! Thanks for checking in! Sending out love and light to all of you!
For today, I have written a very short story that depicted the real situations in our families. Hope you like it, and please feel free to give your opinions in the comment section.Thank you so much!
Love Thy Brother
While a young man is eagerly unboxing his brand-new mobile phone, his six-year-old brother swiftly ran to where he stood and tried to snip the box from him. As he dragged the object away, it fell on the floor and had a minor scratch.
Bursting with anger, the man carried his brother in his arms and brought him out on the balcony. Then, the little child moaned as loud as he could when his brother lifted him up into the air. “Look at the ground and I will make you kiss the grass if you mess with my things again, understood?”, the older brother yelled. But before the whining little boy uttered his uneasy response, the man fortuitously lost his control, and so the little kid slipped from his hands and fell into the cold ground.
After that accident, the child lost his ability to walk due to the severe fracture in his lower extremities. The doctor even noted that surviving from that catastrophic event was a huge miracle.
Devastated by his own actions, the young man sat beside her sleeping brother and kissed him on his forehead. He whispered his words of regret while tears ceaselessly rolled on his cheeks. The following day, he committed suicide.
Hope that this story will remind us that things should be used while people should be loved. It is not the other way around. We should also learn how to value and love those people who truly matter to us.
Another thing, when you are angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin. Sometimes, we say and do heartless things when we are too consumed by it. And the worst thing is, we can not take back those words and actions once said and done.

A grim reminder that our actions have consequences. In a rage we can do something or say something that can never be taken back.

when we learn to treat others better than us…. Anger has no root even though it’s natural to get angry… But still we try to love people. Anger is not controlled but can be replaced by love.

A great story, with a strong message. The end was unexpected, but it was hugely thought-provoking…it is so important to take a minute to think sometimes, as it isnβt always possible to take back our actions.

Wooah! So glad you liked it. I’m not really into writing short stories but when this idea hit my head,I just lifted my pen and started to write.
Your thoughts are great, too. Sometimes we have to pause when we are in the verge of our emotions ‘coz we might do things that we’ll regret in the end..Thanks for the visit. Stay safe and healthy.ππ
