What is Life?

Life is queer with its twist and turns,

Intermixed with bigotries and spurns.

But it also provides a boundless hope,

To the shattered ones who need to cope,

 

Yet every single day we failed to realize,

That living in this world is already a prize,

That it is more than the miseries we had,

Or the disappointments that made us sad.

 

Life is beautiful with its ups and downs.

Let us just set aside the cries and frowns.

Take a deep breath and pause for a while.

Start and end the day with a genuine smile.

 

Life is truly priceless to be taken for granted,

So celebrate every fleeting moment instead.

Dare to live the life you’ve always wanted,

By defying the risks you’ve always avoided.
