Love is like a rose.
It has a tempting splendor
And a sweet perfume.
But be wary of its thorns,
It can prick your crumbly heart.
-Lebana’s Tanka-
If all we had were roses,
would the thorns then be beautiful?
-Lebana-

Beautiful poetry… I like how the thorns play “different roles” in the two poems Interesting take 😀

Yes! The crown of thorns was very painful for our precious Savior, but His love for us made the Rose of Sharon the most beautiful act of love ever! ❤
